Amidst going through the process of a divorce, Ms. Bloom began seeking work in order to raise her three children. Previously, she has organized and conducted meetings for parenting help groups. During this time, Ms. Bloom was recruited to provide parenting help in an office, which led to her embarking upon a career in business and worked as a consultant for training management, and then became training director of sales for National Lincoln Life Insurance.

She then established Beverly Bloom Consulting, where she has excelled in various fields including insurance, advertising, finance, and mobile homes for 27 years. Harboring a natural affinity for leadership, she published an article about the fear of success that paved the way for her career.

Ms. Bloom has always had the goal of "touching as many lives as she can so that she will be remembered in a helping way." Her children were her motivation for many years. As she explained, "I wanted to keep them in the environment that they where in before the divorce. I lost my motivation when they became adults so I had to get motivated again. I did so through spirituality. I learned how to do a lot of healing through eastern medicine but always combined with western medicine. Both got me through having breast and ovarian cancer."

She is working on an autobiography that she hopes her children or grandchildren will publish one day.
