Since 2017, Ms. Bromley has worked as a fifth and sixth grade teacher at Hazelwood Elementary School.

With more than 20 years of expertise to her credit, Ms. Bromley is recognized for her dedication to elementary education. She earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from the University of Oregon in 1985, after which she attained a Master of Arts in curriculum and instruction from the University of Connecticut in 1998.
An expert in problem- and project-based learning in the elementary level, Ms. Bromley began her career as a sixth grade teacher at Pinckneyville Middle School in 1992. She continued her career as a fourth grade mathematics and science teacher for Clear Creek Elementary from 2006 to 2016, at which point she became a physics and flight instructor for Ridgetop Middle School. Since 2017, Ms. Bromley has worked as a fifth and sixth grade teacher at Hazelwood Elementary School.
In her present role, Ms. Bromley teaches fifth grade students on all subjects at the elementary level. She also leads an all-school STEM club, which provides daily announcements on the subject of socio-emotional learning. As part of her commitment to her field, Ms. Bromley serves as a member of the National Science Teachers Association and the National Science Leaders Education Association.
Ms. Bromley attributes much of her success to her passion for education. She had aspired to become a teacher since her early experiences in elementary school, where she dedicated herself to lifelong learning. Looking toward the future, Ms. Bromley plans to continue teaching and bring her passion to subsequent generations.
