Trendel has worked in the beauty care industry for over 30 years and is ready to leverage her experience to help a larger audience with their aesthetic care needs.

"I worked at the salon inside JC Penney for 26 years," Trendel said. "When I retired in 2019, I realized I didn't want to say goodbye to this industry just yet. Many of my long-term clients used to say that they see me one day opening my own studio, and honestly, that was a big encouragement."

Like many little girls, Trendel's love for beauty and fashion began at an early age when she picked up her very first Vogue magazine. "I was 9 when I stumbled upon this shiny, glossy magazine, with pictures of stunningly coiffured women and I fell in love with the whole beauty and fashion industry."

Trendel received her haircare training from Ogle School of Hair in Texas, where she mastered the art of haircuts, color, and perms. At her studio, she offers cutting edge highlights and lowlights, advanced hair cutting techniques, dimensional highlighting, corrective hair color, and styling.

Due to her interest in latest hair trends, she loves to use her creativity in hair color. "Many women don't realize that there is a huge difference between a hair color that looks good and a hair color that looks most flattering on you. When the client comes in, I first examine the nuances of their skin tone and together we decide which color they would like to bring out in their face," says Trendel.

With an artist's vision, Trendel goes for cuts that bring out the high cheekbones and colors that enhance bright eyes. "The best part of my day is to make my clients see what I see when I look at them, to give them confidence," she adds.
