A seasoned exploration geologist with a proven track record of success in his field, Mr. Dilles currently excels as the president and principal geologist with Peter Dilles Consulting Services Inc. Since founding the aforementioned company in 2000, he has offered a range of mineral evaluation, detailed mapping and report writing services. Backed by 30 years of expertise, Mr. Dilles has specialized in exploring for Carlin-type and high sulfidation epithermal precious metal deposits. He continues to identify and develop significant precious metal prospects as an entrepreneur.
Mr. Dilles earned a Master of Science in Economic Geology from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. He is affiliated with the Geological Society of Nevada and the American Association of Professional Geologists. He has organized speakers and solicited technical papers for the May, 2022 Geologic Society of Nevada Symposium in Reno, NV.
Mr. Dilles headed the Ruby Hill project from 1993-1995 outlining the highly profitable Archimedes gold mine near Eureka, Nevada. Concurrently, he recognized, partnered, built (from a single mining claim) and later sold the highly prospective E. Camp Douglas epithermal district play. He explored for massive gold and copper deposits in high Andes of South America meeting his future wife, Jeannette, in Lima in 1998.
Owing to his business success, his family has recently hosted foreign exchange students, donated to the Afgan resettlement and given generously to local charities in Northern Nevada. His family remains active in reforesting Northern California wildfire ravaged lands by planting thousands of tree seedlings.
Even though his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Dilles looks toward the future, as he cements his business legacy while being a good father and grandfather. Mr. Dilles and his wife plan to remain involved in their community and travel the world.
