Located on Raggedy Lane and serving patrons six days a week from Monday through Saturday, the establishment sells hot and cold sandwiches, as well as a select menu for children. Customers will also find frozen fish, beer and wine, and specialty items like local jams, jellies, and honey, sweet tea, coffee, and cold beverages. Additionally, the General Store sells a variety of home décor, clothing, and jewelry, and various items for the home.

Originally built as a logging home during the 1920s, she succeeded in preserving the stone chimney and fireplace during renovation efforts. Now situated as the focal point for the store, the fireplace greets every patron upon entering the establishment.
Ms. Walker serves as the former owner and operator of Florida Auto Wash LLC, which she maintained from 1992 to 2016. She also owned a chain of car washes and detail centers, as well as Total Care Enterprises. As a part of her contributions to her local community and for the sake of her business, Ms. Walker is an active member of the Highlands Chamber of Commerce and the Cashiers Chamber of Commerce. Furthermore, she has been affiliated with the Old Edwards Golf Club since 2018 and was a volunteer for local Pop Warner football and cheerleading from 1993 to 1999.
Born in Miami, Florida, Ms. Walker relocated to Cashiers after the death of her father during her childhood. Raised by her eldest brother, she later graduated from Blue Ridge High School in Cashiers in 1983. Ms. Walker has since completed numerous educational seminars through a former car wash association to expand her knowledge of the field. Celebrating her success, she was voted as one of the Top 5 Car Washes in the U.S. five years in a row. Likewise, Ms. Walker was recognized by Laurel Magazine with a "What's Hot What's Not" Award in 2021.
