LAS VEGAS, NV, February 03, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Vanessa Barreat has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. From a formative age, Ms. Barreat desired to establish her own business rather than work for other individuals or corporations. To this end, she was inspired to form a restaurant to connect with her community through her passion for the culinary arts. Prior to immigrating to the United States, Ms. Barreat completed college coursework in engineering in her native country of Venezuela for three years. Following this period, she briefly worked in the food and beverage department of a local casino before launching her own business, La Vecindad Pico de Gallo, in 2016.

Garnering more than five years of outstanding business, Ms. Barreat's restaurant has received several recognitions and awards. They won 16 out of 23 nominations from Best of Las Vegas in 2021, and five of 11 nominations from Best of Las Vegas in 2020. In the forthcoming months, La Vecindad Pico de Gallo will be featured on the Food Network's "Food Paradise," as well as programs on Discovery+ and the Travel Channel.

In January 2022, she published her first book, La Vecindad "A Dream Come True," in which she shares her journey and motivates everyone not to give up on their dreams. Now, she is an author and she states that this will not be her only book.

Over the years, Ms. Barreat has attributed her professional success to hard work and perseverance. Looking toward the future, she plans to expand her business and open several other locations throughout the State of Nevada. Currently, Ms. Barreat is also writing a book regarding her family's heritage and experiences, including her business' successful journey.
