Hope Bernstein Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Education

Ms. Bernstein is recognized for her dedication as an elementary-level reading teacher



She manages seven groups of students ranging from second to fifth grade whose reading levels are lesser than those of their peers.

    MAYS LANDING, NJ, February 03, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Hope Bernstein has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Ms. Bernstein earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Kean University and went on to attain two Master of Arts degrees, which are in Reading and Writing from Manhattanville College and in Curriculum and Instruction from Long Island University. Currently, she is pursuing a third master's degree in educational technology from Rowan University. In 2008, she earned a certificate in teaching the gifted and talented from Long Island University. Ms. Bernstein began her New Jersey career as a Basic Skills teacher in Northfield, New Jersey, in 20 I6, maintaining the role for three years. Subsequently, she served as a Reading Specialist for the Principle Academy Charter School from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Ms. Bernstein is a Basic Skills teacher at Pleasantville Public Schools.

Certified as a reading teacher and in elementary education, Ms. Bernstein has excelled as a reading teacher for Pleasantville Public Schools since 2021. In her position, she manages seven groups of students ranging from second to fifth grade whose reading levels are lesser than those of their peers. As a reading teacher, she teaches them skills to read effectively in such specialty areas as phonics and comprehension. Alongside this role, she has thrived as a tutor for Varsity Tutors LLC since 2018.

As part of her dedication to her field, Ms. Bernstein is an I&RS team member for Pleasantville Public Schools. She is also a member of the International Literacy Association, the International Society for Technology in Education, the New Jersey Education Association and the National Education Association.

Ms. Bernstein was inspired to become a teacher from a formative age. In her early years, her teacher would stay after school to help her read, motivating her to succeed in all her endeavors. As such, Ms. Bernstein plans to bring this same determination to her students so they can remain positive and overcome through their challenges.
