Mr. Peterson was born in the early 1960's, the 2nd child of Charles "Chuck" W. Peterson Sr. and Barbara "Barb" Symington Peterson in Toledo, OH. He began elementary school in Livonia, MI, moving to San Antonio, TX in 1971. A high achiever in school Mr. Peterson also excelled in competitive individual and team sports.
Mr. Peterson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1989. Dedicated to supporting the less fortunate, he contributes to a local charity that provides shelter, hot showers and meals to homeless people throughout San Antonio. Mr. Peterson is also a regular blood donor for the American Red Cross.
Mr. Peterson credits his upbringing by his parents for their leadership by example with being the foundation of his successes. Chuck and Barb were both goal oriented high achievers. They lived by a life credo to at all times strive to "Do the next right thing" driven by Judeo Christian tradition. Chuck was a Korean war army veteran who in civilian life was possessed of high energy and strong competitive drive. He excelled at and retired as a top producing key accounts executive from Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMY/NYSE). Barb in her youth volunteered through Red Cross as a "Candy Striper". She worked as a young married adult for Patent Attorneys later retiring to raise children and home make full time. Mr. Peterson's parents instilled in him a strong positive outlook, the drive to pursue excellence in all endeavors and compassion to lift up others along the journey.
Mr. Peterson credits his wife Cara Wall Peterson for being his greatest partner in his successes. Together since 1995, married in 1998, Cara retired from her full-time administrative assistant career to raise children, home make and act as COO for the Peterson's real estate business. Mrs. Peterson continues to in all ways provide love and full support, operational expertise and extraordinary parenting for great benefit.
