Mr. Shah earned a Bachelor of Science in engineering from the Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering in India in 2002. In 2018, he attained a master certificate in hospitality management from Cornell University. He started his career as a MICAP technician and local area network technician at the Langley Air Force Base in 2003. In 2007, he started his retail portfolio owning multiple locations while also co-founding Plaza Group USA. He is also currently a founding owner and the chief executive officer for Pashm Global, which he started in 2021.
In his present role, he is responsible for overseeing all operations of the business, including staffing and reporting, working in three divisions: retail, hospitality and health care. He also oversees the company's global portfolio. An expert in hospitality and customer service, he was recognized by Inside Business Top 75 in 2021.
A self-professed dedicated and professional person, Mr. Shah was drawn to the hospitality industry by his own hospitable nature. He found he loved working in customer service and has focused his professional growth in that area. He plans to expand his retail portfolio from 20 to 30 locations in the next few years.
