Subsequently, he gained valuable expertise on flow cytometry as a chief technical communications adviser for Sony Corporation of America between 2010 and 2012. Mr. Yamamoto was additionally active establishing Phototek Laboratory Inc. as the founder and business development manager on microfluidics in Kanagawa, Japan from 2012 until 2014.
Drawing upon years of expertise, Mr. Yamamoto excels as an adjunct professor for Purdue University and as the co-founder and chief technical officer of Miftek Corporation since 2014. Additionally, he has contributed to such creative works as "Photon Spectroscopy by Picoseconds Differential Geiger-mode Si Photomultiplier," which was published through the SPIE and other publications. In order to remain aware of changes in the biomedical field, Mr. Yamamoto maintains membership with the Japan Society of Applied Physics and International Society for Advancement of Cytometry.
In light of his outstanding expertise, Mr. Yamamoto was honored with an Emmy Award for Development of Blu-ray in 2010 and the AIMBE College of Fellows in 2012. Although his career has been filled with highlights, he is proud of receiving the aforementioned honors.
