PHILADELPHIA, PA, February 28, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- John Stango has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Born into the field of arts by his mother, Frances Elaine Rockwell, a relative of Norman Rockwell and an exceptional painter in her own right, Mr. Stango resolved from an early age to follow the example of his mother. As a child, he excelled in artistic endeavors. Following his graduation from high school, he applied to, and was accepted by, the Tyler School of Art at Temple University. Throughout the course of his formal education, Mr. Stango set himself apart from his classmates and became well known by professors and students alike.

Upon graduating from Temple University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and graphic design, Mr. Stango began working as a visual merchandiser for Macy's and Bloomingdale's Department Stores. During this time, he also created silk-screened t-shirts and, as his reputation grew, was able to transition toward painting on a full-time basis. Presently, Mr. Stango excels as a modern American pop artist and draws inspiration from a range of different subjects, including magazines, pop icons, vintage signs and more, which he portrays via bold colors and distinct textures.

Well regarded as an expert in his field, Mr. Stango has been honored on several occasions, earning a nomination in the Top 10 Art Pieces by Bill Fine at The Hamptons Art Fair in 2019. While his career has been filled with highlights, he is most proud to have designed art pieces for the inauguration of Barack Obama, which led to him being featured on CNN. Looking toward the future, Mr. Stango intends to open a show or gallery through which he can showcase his piece, "The Stewardess," and eventually contribute to his university for the benefit of other students.
