Dr. Gabrielle Marshall-Salomon Recognized by Marquis Who's Who for Excellence in Psychiatry

Dr. Marshall-Salomon serves in private practice



    MADISON, NJ, March 01, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Gabrielle Marshall-Salomon has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Dr. Marshall-Salomon obtained a Bachelor of Science in biopsychology from Tufts University in 1977. She continued her education with a Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College in Valhalla in 1983, after which she undertook a psychiatry residency at St. Vincent Hospital in New York from 1983 to 1986. Following this period, Dr. Marshall-Salomon was selected for a child and adolescent fellowship with the Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, in 1988.

Dr. Marshall-Salomon initially gained experience as an attending staff member of the department of psychiatry at the Morristown Medical Center of New Jersey between 1990 and 1995. Simultaneously, she provided psychiatric care at Psychiatric Consultants of Morris, New Jersey, from 1993 to 2013 and as the medical director of Grace Counseling Center in Madison. The latter organization, a nonprofit entity, is dedicated to relieving emotional suffering and empowering positive change in the lives of individuals, couples, families and groups through free workshops, training and supervisory services. Additionally, Dr. Marshall-Salomon has served in private practice since 1989.

Well qualified in her field, Dr. Marshall-Salomon was certified in infant massage education by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Moreover, she was acknowledged as a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Marshall-Salomon's affiliations include the International Institute of Infant Massage and in the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

In accounting for her success, Dr. Marshall-Salomon credits the influence of her parents, both of whom served as practicing psychoanalysts in their own right. She also attributes the passion she holds for her work and her intrinsic connection to the community of Madison. Looking toward the future, Dr. Marshall-Salomon hopes to continue experiencing the growth of her private practice.
