Mr. Herrejon earned a Bachelor of Accounting from La Salle University in Mexico City, after which he attained a Certified Public Accountant degree. He subsequently received certifications as a Series 7 Registered Representative, Series 55 Equity Trader Representative, a Series 25 General Securities Principal and a Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law Representative through the National Association of Securities Dealers. In 2005, Mr. Herrejon also earned a Texas Savings and Loan Department License.
Mr. Herrejon began his career working at the Comision Nacional de Valores in 1994, during which time he analyzed audit reports and drafted legal reports for Brokerage Firm's operation failures. He continued his finance career working in the Mexican Stock Exchange and then at Accival Brokerage firm in the international back office department, trading currencies for institutional clients. Then, Mr. Herrejon was promoted to the international equities trading desk, until 2004, when he launched his first US company Deporte Total Corp.
An expert in Real Estate Development and Residential Home Building, Mr. Herrejon began his Real Estate career in Austin, TX in 2005 with Onion Creek Mortgage. In 2007, he became self-employed as a General Manager for Real Estate projects in Mexico. Then in May 2008 he established his Real Estate Development company in Texas, AHA Dream Homes LLC. In his role as President & CEO, Mr. Herrejon is responsible for the overall management of the Real Estate projects, including marketing, securing permits and licenses and communicating requirements with City officials, lenders, title companies, architects, engineers and subcontractors.
As part of his dedication to his field, Mr. Herrejon is a member of the National Home Builders Association and the Greater Austin Builders Association. He was inspired to enter the field of real estate by his father, who distinguished himself as a builder in his own right. Looking toward the future, Mr. Herrejon plans to continue expanding the scope of his business while building hundreds of homes along the way.
