A native New Yorker, Stephanie Costello immersed herself in yoga and classical dance forms as well as musical, athletic and artistic projects throughout adolescence, laying the groundwork for future creative endeavors. After completing studies in Finance and Entrepreneurship at Babson College and abroad, Ms. Costello was lured to Las Vegas to join the circus, signing an international touring contract with the Flying Farfans as an aerialist. The circus played in destinations around the world such as Japan, Peru, Chile, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Mexico and Indonesia, giving Costello a unique understanding of foreign audiences' tastes and cultures.
Upon returning to Las Vegas, Costello began her illustrious career in the Entertainment Capitol of the World. Her first job was as a Go-Go Dancer at the iconic Shark Club then as a stuntwoman in the original cast of the pirate show attraction at Treasure Island Hotel and Casino on the Strip. She found her stride when she was hired to perform at Studio 54 Nightclub, then owned and operated by The MGM Grand Hotel. She changed the face of nightclub entertainment when she and her partner were the first to bring aerial acrobatic performances into the blossoming international club scene. Her 8-year stint at Studio 54, performing nightly for crowds of 3,000+ people, earned her notoriety in the nightclub industry as a pioneer.
During this time Costello started an entertainment company called Ultra Violet Extreme Performance Artists which specialized in providing avant-garde entertainment such as live body painting, fire handling and aerial acrobatics shows for special events, conventions and nightclubs. Her original productions were requested by event planners at every major hotel and casino on the Strip. In addition, she caught the attention of big-name corporations such as MTV, Spike TV, Monster Energy Drink, Bentley Motor Cars, Breitling Watches, Miller Brewing Company, Redbull, Microsoft and "America's Got Talent." Each of those organizations contracted Costello's company, Ultra Violet, to perform at their events. A crowning achievement came in 2008 when Ms. Costello was named the #1 Woman in Nightlife: The Pink Pages, by Las Vegas Weekly Magazine, besting a field of 24 other movers and shakers.
Presently, Ms. Costello excels as the Chief Firearms Instructor for her family's business, Archangel Training Solutions. She initially began working with her father to help him with his rapidly expanding clientele base. Stephanie's dedication to providing outstanding instruction in self-defense led her on a quest to obtain knowledge and refine her shooting skills. Ms. Costello now holds numerous certifications such as NRA Law Enforcement Instructor, Shotgun Master Instructor (Sig Sauer Academy), CCW Instructor in the State of Nevada and State of Utah, Certified Firearms Instructor for the NV P.I.L.B., and Chief Range Safety Officer, to name a few. She is also a competitive shooter in International Defensive Pistol Association matches.
Ms. Costello also pursues philanthropy as Founder & President of the Start Up Foundation, Inc., a 501(C)3 non-profit, created to assist performance artists and entrepreneurs build a successful career.
