RANDOLPH, NJ, March 11, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lauren Schmitt has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Driven to become a music teacher from her youth, Ms. Schmitt began her career as a monitor and lesson teacher for Mt. Tabor Summer Music Camp in 2011, with which she has remained for more than a decade. At the same time, she pursued and earned a Bachelor of Music from Grove City College and gained valuable expertise in the field as a music theory tutor for her alma mater. Subsequently, she has excelled as an elementary instrumental music teacher for Parsippany-Troy Hills Board of Education since 2015.
In the latter position, Ms. Schmitt has taught fourth and fifth grade band and conducted band rehearsals. In order to further her knowledge of the industry, she earned a Master of Music from Boston University in 2019. Over the years, she also became a New Jersey CEAS Teacher of Music through the New Jersey Department of Education and became certified in Pennsylvania PK-12 instructional education. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Schmitt is affiliated with the New Jersey Music Educators Association and the National Music Educators Association.
Even though her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Schmitt is incredibly proud of teaching her students and fostering their expertise over the years. Looking toward the future, she intends to finish her master's degree in educational psychology and implement what she knows into her work in the classroom. Ultimately, Ms. Schmitt also aims to continue inspiring children to learn and love music.
