Drawing on his 40 years of experience in the aerospace and industrial manufacturing sectors, Mr. Durudogan currently serves as a member of the board of directors for HD Advanced Manufacturing, where he was formerly chief executive officer. Previously, he worked as group executive vice president of Meggitt PLC, president of Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems, president of Invensys APV, PLC, now known as Schneider Electric, and vice president and general manager for Europe, CIS, Middle East and Africa Operations for Honeywell.
During the early years of his career, Mr. Durudogan gained valuable expertise as vice president for Boeing Programs, director of global aircraft leasing market for AlliedSignal and regional director for Southeast Asia Market Operations and manager of International Business Development for McDonnell Douglas. He began his career as a financial analyst on the McDonnell Douglas F15 program in Saudi Arabia. Mr. Durudogan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Yale University and is an alumnus of St. George's School in Newport, Rhode Island.
Additionally, Mr. Durudogan has served on the board of governors for the Aerospace Industries Association of America, has presented at the Brookings Institute in Washington, D.C. and the International Institute of Strategic Studies in London, England. In recognition of mentoring and leadership programs he established while at Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems, Mr. Durudogan became the first male recipient of the Women's Impact Award. Looking toward the future, Mr. Durudogan hopes to continue to use and expand his professional expertise serving on the Board of HD Advanced Manufacturing and in various industry consulting roles.
