Mr. Spells is currently responsible for the overall operations of the IWTU, which includes budgetary management, engineering and maintenance.

Upon graduating from high school, Mr. Spells enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served in the naval nuclear program. After serving in the military for nearly a decade, he went on to distinguish himself in varying capacities of nuclear facility management, most notably at the Integrated Waste Treatment Unit (ITWU). The ITWU is a unique facility that was built to treat about 900,000 gallons of sodium-bearing radioactive liquid waste.
Mr. Spells currently serves as the director of the IWTU nuclear operations and startup for the Idaho Environmental Coalition. In this role, he has spearheaded much of the progress subsequently achieved in the preparation for radioactive operations. Mr. Spells is currently responsible for the overall operations of the IWTU, which includes budgetary management, engineering and maintenance.
Mr. Spells holds an associate's degree in nuclear technology and presently assists as an advisor to Idaho State University's nuclear technology training program. Having come of age in a rural region of Arkansas, he has exceeded all expectations that he has had for himself.
