Victoria Bugbee Recognized by Marquis Who's Who for Excellence in Visual and Performing Arts

    HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, NY, March 18, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Victoria Bugbee has been included in Marquis Who's Who. For more than 40 years, Ms. Bugbee has thrived as a playwright, producer, director and visual artist. In addition to writing, producing and directing numerous theatrical and outdoor productions in Atlanta and New York, her visual exhibition, "Kaboom," has been displayed in several cities in Westchester County, as well as in New York City and Wilmington, Delaware. Some of Ms. Bugbee's most acclaimed plays include 2007's "The Gas Station Project" and 1992's "A Surreal Soap Opera," which was performed through Lincoln Center's "Out of Doors" program.

Alongside her artistic endeavors, Ms. Bugbee founded The Atlanta Art Workers Coalition. She has written articles for Art Papers, American Cinematographer, Backstage and more. She found further success helping create videos for a host of major fashion and beauty brands, such as Oscar de la Renta, Betsey Johnson, True Religion and Yves Saint Laurent. Ms. Bugbee also excelled as a board member for RiverArts from 2007 until 2010 and has held leadership positions at multiple entertainment and media organizations based in New York City.

In 1993 Ms. Bugbee co-wrote the screenplay for the feature film "Out of State-A Gothic Romance." Recently she produced and directed the dramatic comedy that stars Sarah Moliski, Caroline Winterson, James Nester and Avery Ryder Turner. She attributes a great deal of her success to her perseverance, which enables her to pursue her artistic visions with the utmost determination.
