Alongside his success with Euston Productions, Mr. Euston excelled as a video journalist and columnist for the Sonoma County Gazette. A passionate advocate for sustainable development, he frequently utilizes his video production skills to produce engaging documentary content that accurately portrays the benefits of sustainable solutions, as well as local entrepreneurial programs and employment opportunities for balanced ecological business and career choices.
To help people new to film production, Mr. Euston created a digital media internship program at Santa Rosa Junior College, where he had previously obtained a certification in digital filmmaking. Prior and during his career as a video producer and journalist, Mr. Euston's additional parallel career includes technical skills instruction in the software industry.
Ever creative and proactive, as wildfires increased in Northern California each year beginning in 2015, Mr. Euston designed and implemented a multi-platform based, broadcast portal allowing fire, public health, law enforcement, community and emergency services to update their local community with accurate information and current resources.
Through Mr. Euston's one broadcast solution, service providers are able to deliver real time updates to their local community through social media, local television, internet, radio, and their selected video conferencing solutions. This was the first time in Lake County, California that this type of comprehensive broadcast service was made available. This solution greatly increased community awareness, their safety and provided accurate and current informational updates, thus keeping the local community informed in a timely manner.
