CHRISTIANSBURG, VA, March 22, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- William Curtis has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Due to being in long-term recovery from opioids, Mr. Curtis was driven to help others with their substance addictions. After earning an Associate of Arts in ornamental horticulture and landscape design in 1993, he worked as owner and operator of Curtis Turf & Tree between 2001 and 2010. Mr. Curtis was subsequently active as the operations manager of Transformation Painting Inc. as well as a client and consumer advocate of public relations for Eagles Nest Regeneration. In 2014 Mr. Curtis started Transformation Grounds for Eagles Nest Regeneration for additional occupational training for the clients they serve.
While serving as account and operations manager for Transformation Grounds, Mr. Curtis returned to school in 2014, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in psychology, addiction and recovery from Liberty University in order to help others like himself. Backed by his considerable expertise and his real-life experiences, he currently excels as the outreach director of marketing for Eagles Nest Regeneration and a CSAC, CPRS, QMHP educator. Over the years, Mr. Curtis has expanded upon his professional knowledge, becoming a certified substance abuse counselor through the Commonwealth of Virginia, a QMHP-A through the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, a registered peer recovery specialist, a certified peer recovery specialist through the Depression and Bipolar Alliance and a certified pesticide applicator through the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Mr. Curtis is affiliated with the American Association of Christian Counselors. Although his career has been filled with highlights, he is incredibly proud of working for a faith-based organization that is also a clinical treatment center and aims to give people the choice and assistance to start their recovery. Looking toward the future, Mr. Curtis intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career and build up the organization's leadership team.
