Presently, she serves as an underwriting manager for the wholesale division at Southwest Funding. Ms. Fowler attributes much of her success to the mentorship she received from David White, who is currently the chief operating officer of their company. Having worked together at several companies in the past, she is proud to have worked alongside one who exemplifies the best aspects of the profession.
In her 35 years within the industry, Ms. Fowler has been honored with various awards, which she values as her most notable achievements. To wit, she was bestowed with the Top Hat Award by Cornerstone for her performance as one of the top five of 155 underwriters, which she notably received during her first year of employment. Ms. Fowler also received the Circle of Excellence award from Southwest Funding.
Ms. Fowler can also be recognized for her charity work, having participated with such organizations as the Heart to Home Foundation, Cornerstone Cares and the Miss Texas Organization. Likewise, she serves as a mentor to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
