Looking toward the future, Mrs. Farrell aspires to become more involved in education by publishing books about the industry or teaching the craft. She hopes to become an instructor at the industry's annual trade shows, which host classes and seminars to teach colleagues about the intricacies of framing. Additionally, Mrs. Farrell aims to spread her knowledge of conservation and preservation framing throughout the field.
Supporting her community and her career, Mrs. Farrell is an active member of the Rome Chamber of Commerce. She has also been a contributor of Relay For Life, a fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. In this capacity, Mrs. Farrell has donated 160 frames for charitable purposes.
Mrs. Farrell is a professional member of the Professional Picture Framers Association, which has been instrumental in the success of her career. She has also been honored with a Best of Rome Award for Farrell's Frame and Design on five different occasions with a Best of Rome Runner Up Award in 2019. Additionally, Mrs. Farrell was recognized with a Chamber of Commerce Emerging Business of the Year Award in 2020.
