Brinda Renee Clarke Celebrated for Success in Education

Ms. Clarke has accrued nearly 40 years of success as a reading coach and educator



Brinda Renee Clarke has felt the greatest sense of accomplishment from watching her students develop better reading skills and emerge as strong learners.

    SALISBURY, MD, April 01, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brinda Renee Clarke has been included in Marquis Who's Who. From her formative years, Ms. Clarke harbored a passion for teaching. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in elementary education and a Master of Science in human resources management from Wilmington College. Well regarded in her field, Ms. Clarke is certified as a teacher of English as a second language and reading.

For nearly 40 years, Ms. Clarke has found success as a teacher, having taught in the state of Delaware for two and a half decades. Moreover, she acted as a reading coach, standardized testing coordinator and curriculum coordinator for the Salisbury School for over 10 years. Throughout the course of her career, Ms. Clarke has felt the greatest sense of accomplishment from watching her students develop better reading skills and emerge as strong learners.

Ms. Clarke served as an active member of the International Literacy Association for more than 30 years. She has also provided service to the Laurel Lions Club, the Boys & Girls Club of America and the Delaware Teachers Board. Notably, Ms. Clarke helped organize and write lesson plans for Help One Student to Succeed, an organization aimed toward gathering mentors from the community and recruiting them to mentor a child once a week.

As a testament to her contributions to the field of education, Ms. Clarke has been presented with the Betty Scharf Memorial Award and the Jefferson Award for her volunteer work. Moreover, she has been distinguished as the Teacher of the Year several times. Ms. Clarke attributes her success to her leadership skills, to being open to new ideas and changes, and to the administration that she worked under.
