In her leadership position at VMLY&R, a global advertising agency, Ms. Britton has substantially contributed in growing the company's employee force, further bolstering and cementing diverse talent for the agency supporting a roster of leading brands.
Prior to VMLY&R, Ms. Britton served at Havas and Leo Burnett, earning certifications in managing bias and diversity and inclusion in the workplace. It was during her time at Leo Burnett that Ms. Britton built a hugely successful high school internship program to help connect underserved communities in Chicago with the advertising community. The internship program, called Leo's Vision, was a huge success across the industry and continues to support young students. In 2015, Ms. Britton, along with other co-founders of the program, were awarded the American Advertising Federation's Mosaic Diversity award for their efforts on the program helping to benefit and enrich career journeys for young students.
Ms. Britton's passion point has always been mentorship and giving back to her community. She has been heavily involved with volunteer efforts across her entire career, taking advantage of her passion for cooking to prepare meals for families at Ronald McDonald House Charities and designing and rehabilitating the interior of the facility for Off The Street Club, a local boys and girls club.
Ms. Britton's career has been spent in the service of others. On top of her volunteer efforts, Ms. Britton is deeply passionate about sharing her knowledge with future generations, accomplishing this goal through mentorship. She strives to help her protégés navigate their lives and build successful careers for themselves.
She identifies herself as someone who can always be relied upon to provide a helping hand to others in need, and her civic work has given her strong ties to the community, not to mention a great deal of personal satisfaction. Ms. Britton also credits her faith in keeping her strong throughout her career. "You can be great at what you do and bad at who you are," Ms. Britton says, "[but] being a successful leader means that you need to learn to be great at both."

Ms. Britton has also significantly built upon her considerable talents in recruiting outside of her work, having been active as a founding member of diversity programs and partnerships for Allies in Recruiting (AIR).
