Dr. Hoover has donated her time by helping patients in Nicaragua and Peru, has served as a volunteer outreach organizer for the Good Samaritan Health Center, and has lent her time to the Ben Massell Dental Clinic, a program of Jewish Family and Career Services in Atlanta. Additionally, she frequently volunteers on behalf of the Special Olympics.
Born and raised in Snellville, Georgia, Dr. Hoover studied at Furman University, from which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2003. Following this accomplishment, she attained a Doctor of Medical Dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia in 2007, during which time she served as the president of her class. As part of her professional commitments, Dr. Hoover participates in various continued education courses to maintain knowledge of the latest advances in the field. Moreover, she has maintained her affiliation with such organizations as the Hinman Dental Society in Atlanta, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association and the Northern District Dental Society. Dr. Hoover is also a past president of the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry.
