WOODBRIDGE, VA, April 05, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Khanner Hancock has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

While attending high school, Ms. Hancock joined the Future Educators Association, as well as Today's Students Tomorrow's Teachers with the hopes of building her professional network within Prince William County. Following this period, she worked as an undergraduate assistant for Hampton University's Pre-College Office and earned a Bachelor of Arts in music performance from Hampton University. Ms. Hancock subsequently worked as an assistant manager for Charming Charlie, an intern for the National Education Association, and, as an actress for the Workhouse Arts Center. During this time, she worked diligently toward completing a Master of Arts in pastoral counseling, with a specialization in life coaching from Liberty University.

Drawing on her professional excellence, she is a choral educator for Prince William County Schools. Ms. Hancock presently excels as the chief executive officer and arts enrichment educator of Khanner Milan Artistry, which aims to expose children of underrepresented communities to arts education. Driven to remain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Hancock is currently studying for a Doctor of Education in Community Care and Counseling. Additionally, she maintains her affiliation with the Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity.

In conjunction with her work in the field, Ms. Hancock contributes to her community via the Friends of Guest House, the Creative and Performing Arts Center, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. For her professional achievements, she was honored as a Leader for Tomorrow through the Virginia Music Educators Association and for Outstanding Service to Youth in the Arts by the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Likewise, Ms. Hancock was named as Miss Virginia U.S. International 2019, International Junior Miss Virginia 2020, Miss Virginia North America 2021, and Miss Northeast North America 2022 following first runner-up placement at Miss North America National 2021 Pageant.

While her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Hancock is most proud to have been invited by the Virginia Music Educators Association to serve on a panel of speakers to represent future leaders. Looking toward the future, she hopes to earn her doctorate in counseling, teach mental health first aid, work to establish her nonprofit organization Movement of Hope, and address educator burnout from a standpoint of clinical psychology.
