Kidz Can 2 also teaches children how to play independently while accepting assistance and directions from adults. Kidz Can 2 is now run by Ms. Alejandrez as well as her two daughters.
Prior to moving into her first Kidz Can 2 facility in 2016, Ms. Alejandrez provided child care services in her home for 10 years and worked in the same capacity for the previous 18 years. She expanded to two buildings in 2021 and now has two locations in the Central California region. Alongside her responsibilities as an entrepreneur, Ms. Alejandrez maintains an active affiliation with her local Hispanic chamber of commerce and regularly contributes to fundraisers organized by her church.
In addition to her faith, Ms. Alejandrez attributes a great deal of her success to the tremendous adversity that she experienced as a single mother of four children. She is extremely proud to have created and maintained a thriving business despite her rough upbringing, which stemmed from the tragic death of her parents. In the coming years, Ms. Alejandrez intends to open another day care facility in her hometown of Fresno while continuing to serve as an inspiration for single mothers across the United States.
