She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Subsequently she completed a residency in family medicine through the University of Illinois at Ravenswood where she was chief resident in her final year. She also completed a Faculty Development Fellowship through Cook County Hospital-Rush Presbyterian Hospital. Since 1999, Dr. Lee has been certified in family medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine and has been licensed to practice in Colorado.
Backed by years of expertise, Dr. Lee currently excels as a physician at Family Medical Associates with Boulder Community Health. She was recognized by her peers through Boulder Community Health as an Outstanding Primary Care Physician in 2018. In order to stay current with changes in her field, she is affiliated with Boulder County Medical Society, the Colorado Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Practice, and the American Board of Family Medicine.

Likewise, she was honored with a CMS Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification through Greenway Health LLC. Even though her career has been filled with highlights, Dr. Lee has been incredibly proud of witnessing young people grow up and care for their own families.
