With a desire to play a role in supporting the families within his community, Mr. Osgood pursued a career in public service. He completed coursework in accounting at Bay State College and later obtained a diploma in theology from the Berean School of the Bible and Distance Learning at Global University. Since 2012, he has found success working as an ordained pastor. Moreover, Mr. Osgood has been certified as a comprehensive victim intervention specialist by the National Victim Credentialing Association.
Early in his career, Mr. Osgood held sales and management roles, having served as the general manager of Jiffy Lube from 2004 to 2012. Since 2020, he has worked as the senior program manager of the Boston Public Health Commission. In this role, he utilizes his expertise in informed trauma response care and community organization. His duties include managing all violent incidents within the city of Boston, managing trauma teams, following up on incidents and ensuring that victims receive proper care.
For his contributions to society, Mr. Osgood was a mayoral candidate for the city of Boston in 2017 and a senatorial candidate for Massachusetts in 2018. Passionate about bettering his community, he has participated extensively in public service organizations, including as a senior pastor at GateWay Ministries since 2013 and as both a servant leader for Brothers Talking Tuesdays and a board member of the Massachusetts Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence since 2020. He formerly served as a violence interrupter and trauma specialist for the city of Boston and as a facilities manager for the Massachusetts Community Outreach Initiative. Mr. Osgood was the recipient of the Community Award in 2022 as well as an award from the Millionaires Club.
Mr. Osgood attributes his success to his good character and integrity as well as to his consistency. Incredibly proud of his seven children, he is also grateful for his work in the community as a servant leader, a public servant, a father and a role model. In the coming years, Mr. Osgood hopes to either be leading an established organization or building an organization that strives for the betterment of the lives of the children and the youth in the community.
