MARIETTA, GA, May 18, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Richard "Doc" Roberts has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

For more than 15 years, Mr. Roberts thrived as a computer instructor and technical trainer at Emory University and adjunct faculty for several DOD clients. Prior to his retirement, he taught a number of courses related to website development and computer programming, particularly regarding the utilization of popular programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Mr. Roberts had previously worked as a computer instructor for the United States Office of Personnel Management in Atlanta, Georgia before finding further success in this capacity at the United States Department of Agriculture's Graduate School, which has since been converted into Graduate School USA, between 1986 and 2004. He is proud to have been awarded 2nd place in the National Government Communicators Award 1997 for programming "Situational Awareness and Response" for Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC).

Alongside his career as a computer instructor, Mr. Roberts excelled as the owner and operator of Moneda Multimedia for more than 20 years. During this period, he provided myriad technical services such as website design, database implementation and audio and video production. A former professional musician, Mr. Roberts previously served as an audio engineer and owner/operator at Signal Sound Studio where he recorded the songs "Merry Christmas in the NFL," "Footprints in the Sand" and "WKRP in Cincinnati" which were listed on Billboard's Hot 100, Country and Adult Contemporary charts respectively. In 1981, Mr. Roberts was recognized for his contributions to the song "Pac Man Fever" by Jerry Buckner and Gary Garcia with an Ampex Golden Reel Award.

In addition to the support of his family, he attributes a great deal of his success to his military education. Mr. Roberts initially pursued an education at Jefferson College in Mississippi, which has since closed, and eventually graduated from Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, Georgia with the 13th highest GPA in his class earning him Honor Military School nominations to all three service academies. He subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Georgia before touring the U.S. for more than five years as a member of a band known as Mountain Fever.
