Prior to embarking on his professional journey, he pursued an education at Texas Tech University, where he obtained an associate's degree in communications. He continued his academic efforts at the Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi, earning a bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics. As a commitment to his field, Mr. De La Maza has been active as a member with the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. De La Maza began his career as a senior electronics communication specialist before advancing to the rank of master sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1987 to 2010. He garnered expertise as an operations manager at Transborder Logistic between 2010 and 2012, and subsequently as an electronics-engineering intern at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs from 2014 to 2015. Mr. De La Maza continued his vocation as a field cable specialist at Choctaw Defense Services, while concurrently serving as an independent contractor as well as a project manager and audio-visual technician at Anistar Technologies from 2015 to 2018.
Mr. De La Maza further contributed to companies such as CenTrak and IBM between 2018 and 2020. Since 2021, he has found much success as a field engineer at Infinite Leap. In this capacity, Mr. De La Maza is responsible for deploying and installing communications hardware according to each individual hospital or facility requirements, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring a successful connection to the main server for optimum relay.
Among his professional accomplishments, Mr. De La Maza is incredibly proud of his willingness to travel all over the United States for communication installations and of his ability to work well under pressure, especially in a hospital setting. He attributes much of his success to his dedication and determination to strive for greatness at any given task. Looking toward the future, Mr. De La Maza aspires to continue his vocation in his specialty and hopes to achieve financial security prior to retirement.
