Integrating her faith into her work, Ms. Fluker has been a successful author for 20 years. She began her career working with Bank of America until becoming a certified nursing assistant/polysomnography technologist for a hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. After working in this role for nearly 20 years, she became an author. Her first book, "My Vision from God," was published in 2002 through First Book Library.

Ms. Fluker ensures that her work is focused on her faith and her dedication to serving her community. She has carried this philosophy throughout her career and continued it through her writing. To commemorate her accomplishments as a nurse educator, she was recognized with an award from East Coast Polytechnic Institute. In recognition for her expertise as a writer, she was honored with a proficiency award.

Looking toward the future, Ms. Fluker plans to finish writing and publishing additional books. Her goal is for her literary work to be a blessing to other people, spreading her faith to her readers.
