An expert in finance, commercial leasing and operations, Mr. Holtz has served as a dedicated financial professional for more than 20 years. Before venturing onto his vocational path, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in finance from Arizona State University in 1999. He began his career as a transaction coordinator in 2000 for CIT Group Inc. before being promoted to funding manager in 2002 and, since 2007, has served as a contract senior manager with Wells Fargo Equipment Finance, Inc., a large nationwide leasing company that offers commercial equipment financing. In this capacity, Mr. Holtz's staff handles the new business origination documentation generation and loan and lease processing functions for several high dollar transactions in a fast-paced environment while working in partnership with the credit, legal, and audit teams to ensure efficacy in all phases of the process.
Originally intending to pursue a degree in business management, Mr. Holtz resolved to focus the direction of his education and career on finance as well, as the profession complemented his academic aspirations to a greater degree. He committed to enhancing his proficiency in finance while maintaining his supervisory role. Enjoying the collaborative quality of his work with Wells Fargo Equipment Finance, Inc., Mr. Holtz is passionate about providing his clients with the assistance they require and highest standards of service.
In his present role, Mr. Holtz handles all aspects of documentation, policy and procedures, process improvement initiatives, as well as legislations at the government or state level. He also contributes to business initiatives regarding the development and implementation of the most effective policies and procedures, providing recommendations concerning compliance with the aforementioned operating procedures. He works to ensure his clients execute imperative documents, corresponding with their lawyers to assist with the rescinding of documents or the negotiation review and approval process. To commemorate his accomplishments, Mr. Holtz was a Best in Class and also Hardhat Recognition Award Winner and has been honored with multiple Service Excellence and Truly Outstanding Performance Awards, all from Wells Fargo. He has also successfully completed several career developing programs such as the Extraordinary Leader, Credit and Financial Analysis, and Six Thinking Hats programs and served as a mentor in the Wells Fargo Mentoring program. In addition, Mr. Holtz has also held leadership positions on the company Team Member Connection and Customer for Life councils.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Holtz plans to continue developing his career and skills, with a goal of becoming a contract director, which would further expand his role in overseeing business operations. In addition to his career goals, he gives thanks to God for his many blessings and draws inspiration from his family, notably his parents, siblings, wife Saya, and children Daxton (age three) and Bishop (age one). Mr. Holtz is involved with his church and also active in the community, serving as a chairperson on the community support team for Wells Fargo while helping coordinate and volunteering his time and resources for numerous fundraising and charitable events such as the Adopt a Family, Feed My Starving Children, Reading First, and Through the Eyes of a Child efforts.
