SPRING, TX, May 26, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rachel A. Pfardrescher, FF LP, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals are selected on the basis of current factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in their field are all taken into account during the selection.
Ms. Pfardrescher has distinguished herself as a dedicated firefighter originally graduating from the United States Department of Defense honorably serving in the ARMY. Ms. Pfardrescher currently continues her military service as a combat medic at her home town unit here in Houston. "I proudly serve my country and its citizens doing what I love, helping others and trying to ignite that same passion and ambition in my fellow students and peers."
After completing her course work at Lone Star College, Ms. Pfardrescher became a licensed paramedic and EMS/Fire Instructor. Well qualified and dedicated in her profession, she continues to serve those same students and staff. Teaching the next generation of EMS students, firefighters, and professionals is her calling and she gives back to and pays it forward in those same areas. Her military service has also allowed her the opportunity to visit, network, learn, and collaborate with a multitude of people from different organizations in fire, medicine, military and LEO. "I believe that together with like minds we can learn to be better, practice to be great, and in doing so change the future and lives across our shared disciplines, career fields and all those we continually strive to serve."
Ms. Pfardrescher earned distinction as a firefighter with the Houston Fire Department for five years and continues to do so at the Port Authority of Houston Fire Department and in her military career. She accredits her original interest in her fire profession to FF Sullivan, Garner, Renaud, Bebee, and Downing. Ms. Pfardrescher also continues to strive towards completion of her own education and continually shares her knowledge as both a student and instructor. "Just as the smallest ember can ignite and set the world on fire, or like a stone skipped across water can cause ripples through out, together we can help, guide, mentor, advocate, and educate the next generation to be better than us so that when the day comes and they are without us they can continue on with the memories and impressions we leave them with."
As part of her dedication and humanitarian efforts she regularly volunteers and participates in numerous volunteer events helping others. Also when able to she helps with Sunday school at her local church. Something she has done since childhood with her Grandmother who taught her to help others, pray daily, act humbly, and always practice compassion and tend to your garden. She truly cultivates team work, embodies perseverance, and lights the way for future females in her multiple professions to achieve what was once not possible.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Pfardrescher intends to continue furthering her career achievements and advancements, as well as hopes to one day obtain her bachelor's degree in remembrance of her mentor at Lone Star College, Dan Rathe. She would like to thank of all of those who continue to support, believe in, and push her to do great things despite all the hardships and losses she has endured and faced to achieve these goals and will continue to do so.
