SAINT LOUIS, MO, May 31, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marie Beatrice Zdrodowski has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, profiled individuals are selected on the basis of current contributions. Mrs. Zdrodowski has been recognized for her leadership skills as the in-house general counsel and risk management officer at Ungerboeck Software International (USI) in Saint Louis. She accepted this prestigious position in 2018. Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing the legal department, supervising outside counsel's work, providing guidance to USI's executive team, facilitating mergers and acquisitions, and negotiating complex international SaaS contracts. Additionally, Mrs. Zdrodowski oversees and coordinates all insurance requests and renewals.
Prior to her current position, Mrs. Zdrodowski worked as a contract compliance officer for the City of Saint Louis. She also gained extensive experience in risk management, particularly in insurance, while working for Charter Communications (dba Spectrum). Mrs. Zdrodowski interned for several law firms, including Armstrong Teasdale in Saint Louis where she focused on international business law and tax, and Banks Law LLC in Saint Louis where she learnt corporate litigation. She also gained valuable experience at Atos, a multinational information technology service and consulting company headquartered in France where she acquired expertise in corporate affairs and helped facilitate a major acquisition.
As a part of her commitment to her community, Mrs. Zdrodowski serves on the Board of Directors of North Southside Employment Coalition, which seeks to help unemployed individuals obtain careers and marketable skills. She also operates on the advisory board for Highway to Destiny, a non-profit organization that supports homeless individuals.
Mrs. Zdrodowski attended law schools in France, England, and the U.S., notably earning a Bachelor of Laws at the Université de Rennes 1, a Master of Laws (LLM) in international business law at the University of Exeter, a LLM in European and international business law at the Université Paris Dauphine, and a LLMs in American law for foreign lawyers at Saint Louis University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and Missouri.
Mrs. Zdrodowski is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Missouri Bar, and the Saint Louis chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. In 2020, she was presented with an In-House Counsel Award from the Missouri Lawyers Media and a Corporate Counsel Award from the Saint Louis Business Journal. Mrs. Zdrodowski was also recognized with a Thought Leadership Award from Women Influence and Power in Law in 2020 and 2021.
