Having distinguished herself as a behavioral health specialist, Ms. Fudge served as a program coordinator for a community college nursing program from 2000 until 2010. Dedicated to helping those who live with mental health issues, she is committed to operating her business with compassion and listening to her patients without judgment. After realizing her students were all coming to her for help with their problems, Ms. Fudge resolved to focus on providing excellent mental health services.

To prepare for her new professional focus, Ms. Fudge earned a Bachelor of Arts in fine arts and life science in 2000 and a Master of Social Work from Portland State University in 2018. Well qualified in her field, she is a certified qualified mental health professional and certified alcohol and drug counselor. In 2011, she began her career as a care coordinator with the HIV Alliance, eventually reaching the position of client services manager by the time her service with them concluded around 2014. Ms. Fudge was also a substance use therapist for the Center for Family Development in 2013, becoming a DUII services coordinator by 2018.

Since 2018, Ms. Fudge has functioned as a behavioral health specialist at Cascade Health Solutions. She has also distinguished herself as the owner of her practice, Heather Fudge LLC, since 2021. In this role, she treats patients who live with substance abuse disorders, depression, anxiety, chronic pain or other severe mental illness, as well as those living with infectious diseases, including HIV and hepatitis C. As part of her dedication to her field, she is a member of the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. Additionally, as a Reiki Master, Ms. Fudge intends to practice more and start moving into alternative treatments.
