Fernando A. Turegano II Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Corrosion Engineering

KINGWOOD, TX, June 06, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fernando A. Turegano II has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Supported by years of professional expertise in engineering, marketing, sales, and more, Mr. Turegano presently excels as the chief executive officer and president of IESG Solutions, Inc. and IESG-Coatings Inc. In his capacity with both companies, he consults with clients worldwide regarding corrosion and coatings in industrial, marine, power, transportation, chemical, petrochemical, and offshore markets. Furthermore, Mr. Turegano manufactures and markets technically advanced coatings, wrapping bands, and sealers.

Prior to obtaining his current roles, Mr. Turegano gained valuable knowledge in the industry as the authorized distributor for STOPAQ B.V. and as a coatings engineer for Jacobs Engineering. From 1988 to 2008, he maintained responsibility for writing coating specifications for industrial projects while approving fabricators and applicators and their application procedures. Mr. Turegano also worked with PPG Industries as an international engineering sales support manager and director of Asian operations, Sigma Coatings as the engineering and international offshore manager, and Ameron International as the Director of Asian operations. Likewise, he worked at General Electric as a global sales engineer for their gas turbine market.

An expert in his field, Mr. Turegano holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Fine Arts in drawing and sculpture from Instituto Allende. To stay current in the anti-corrosion field, he aligns himself with the National Association of Corrosion Engineers and the Steel Structures Painting Council, now known as AMPP. Adjacent to his career endeavors, Mr. Turegano served for three years on behalf of the U.S. Army; he earned a Good Conduct Medal. He has also achieved the level of Distinguished Toastmaster for public speaking. Looking toward the future, he aims to turn over his businesses to his son while making a career change to pursue being a sculptor.
