AIEA, HI, June 08, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Maria Magdalena B. Rabago has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
As the eldest of five children, Ms. Rabago has been driven to help others since coming of age. Due to her experiences growing up with the early separation of a father, developed sense of leadership, she assisted her mother in raising her siblings, all of the five have become nurses, and a doctor in their own right. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, Ms. Rabago did not stop stepping up her level of education, earning her Master's Degree in Management and Supervision in Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University. Up to this date, she is still pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Healthcare Administration.
Supported by decades of professional expertise, as well as her extensive education, acclaiming her success to self-discipline, perseverance, good manners, honesty and generosity, Ms. Rabago started a community care facility for the elderly in 1982 in the State of Hawaii. Again, she started community care facilities for the elderly, mentally challenged and adults with intellectual developmental disabilities in California for 11 years. She then moved to Atsugi, Japan, as her spouse was in the U.S. Navy for three years. Here, she volunteered with the American Red Cross. She then moved back to Hawaii where she founded Manawa Lea Health Services Inc. in 1997. The agency provides home and community based waiver services, a Medicaid program in the State of Hawaii. She then found herself working together with the Department of Human Services and Department of Health for the better healthcare of Hawaii.
In recognition of her work, Ms. Rabago was named as a Who's Who Rising American in 1983, and to Strathmore's Who's Who in 2012, among others. While her career has been filled with highlights, one of them was when she was invited to "The Presidential Dinner" in 2004 in Washington, D.C. by the National Republican Congressional Committee. She is more proud to have pursued her personal goals, educational attainment, and to have cultivated a passion for her work. In accounting for her success, she credits her propensity for patience and humility, as well as her singular dedication toward her profession. Looking toward the future, Ms. Rabago hopes to pass down her responsibilities at Manawa Lea House Services to a qualified successor as her two daughters are medical doctors, and serve as a mentor for those seeking to follow her example and for her to spend more time with her family and grandchildren.
