Prior to starting her private career, she served honorably as a fuel handler and truck driver for the 295th Quartermaster Company in Fort Lewis, Washington, from 1998 to 2000. She served with the Western Air Defense Sector between 2000 and 2001 and subsequently with the 184th Wing at McConnell Air Force Base from 2001 to 2007. Following these accomplishments, she became the base accountant with the 190th Air Refueling Wing at Forbes Field Air National Guard Base from 2007 until 2014. During her service, she was honored with an Achievement Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Achievement Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Air Force Longevity Service Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster; USAF Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) Professional Military Education (PME) Graduate Ribbon, Graduate Ribbon with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster; Air Force Training Ribbon, and Army Training Ribbon.
Following her military service, Ms. Bemis earned an associate degree in business administration and management from Daytona State College and an associate degree in accounting from Rasmussen University in 2016. Well qualified in her field, she holds multiple certifications in accounting. Since 2019, she has been the owner of Power X Customs LLC, a custom drift track online business. The business's logo and motto is "As Always Have A Giggle or Two Today."
Looking toward the future, Ms. Bemis intends to continue to develop her business until she can transfer the company to her children, serving as an element of her legacy. She is currently relocating the business, providing employment opportunities to an alternative area and serving a new community. Additionally, Ms. Bemis is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in accounting to further her expertise.
