Garnering more than 20 years of professional excellence in the real estate industry, Ms. McGuriman joined Compass RE in 2019 specializing in the buying and selling of residential real estate throughout southeast Pennsylvania. Representing the largest independent real estate brokerage in the country, she focuses her business on assisting first-time buyers, seasoned buyers and sellers, and investors. Ms. McGuriman also specializes in home staging, single-family homes, condominiums and new construction properties throughout the area.
Passionate about her work, Ms. McGuriman works diligently to remain in constant contact with her clients. In addition to conducting extensive market analysis in the area, she helps them make informed decisions and serves as a liaison between the bank and others involved in the transaction.
Some of the greatest benefits of working in real estate, Ms. McGuriman notes, is developing strong relationships with her clients, some of whom have become close friends. Being kind, honest and empathetic to their needs has been influential in her ability to gain their trust and loyalty.
Ms. McGuriman began her career in sales as a sales manager for Kay and Sons Inc. in New Jersey in 1998. She subsequently became a realtor in the Lansdale area of Pennsylvania with RE/MAX Action Realty between 2002 and 2005, and Long & Foster Companies from 2005 to 2019. Known for her contributions as a civic-minded citizen, Ms. McGuriman often volunteers her time to worthy causes, including the nonprofit organization MANNA and the Special Olympics.
Ms. McGuriman studied at the University of Delaware where she earned a Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology in 1984. After several years as a personal trainer, she began pursuing realty. Highly qualified in her field, Ms. McGuriman received certification as a residential specialist and as a senior real estate specialist through the National Association of Realtors. Additionally, Ms. McGuriman received accreditation to teach real estate at the school of Tri-County Suburban Realtors.
To remain aware of developments in real estate, Ms. McGuriman was active on the board of directors of the former Montgomery County Association of Realtors and she was President for the year 2020. She is also currently on the board of directors of Tri-County Suburban Realtors and the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors.
To commemorate her accomplishments, Ms. McGuriman was named a Top Producer during her tenure at Long & Foster Companies. She attributes much of her success to her parents who were both educated and proponents of lifetime learning, as well as her husband for his ongoing support.
