Driven by a desire to help others, Dr. Daly earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Minnesota's Medical School in 1992. Following this accomplishment, she began an internship at Loyola Medicine MacNeal Hospital, where she became interested in maternal fetal bonding. After completing her internship, she began a residency in pediatrics at the University of Minnesota's Medical School, where she also finished a residency in psychiatry. In 2000, Dr. Daly completed her postdoctoral studies through a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Minnesota's Medical School.
Throughout the course of her career, Dr. Daly has advanced her knowledge of the field by attaining certification in child and adolescent psychiatry and general psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and in pediatrics via the American Board of Pediatrics. Drawing on her considerable excellence, Dr. Daly presently serves as a child psychiatrist with Fairview Health Services.
In order to stay abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Daly aligns herself with the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. While her career has been filled with standout moments, she is most proud to have passed three board exams in a matter of months. Looking toward the future, Dr. Daly aims to engage further in the field of family bonding and interactions, as well as pharmacological interventions.
