Following his graduation from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and management in 2011, he joined LEAM Drilling Services, an oil drilling company, and worked as the lead MWD engineer from 2012 to 2014. During this time, he became aware of the need for contractors in the field and utilized his prior experience in the industry to open his own business in 2014, Lafayette Roofing & General Contractors, which provides such services as residential and commercial roofing, general contracting, and home improvement work on gutters, siding, painting, patios and more.

He notes that once you have made a bad name for yourself, there is no recovery. He further stands out in his field for the knowledge and experience that he and team bring to their work, and they are always seeking to further their skills through continuing education. Through membership in such organizations as Business Networking International, Mr. Domingue is able to stay up-to-date with the most recent market and manufacturing standards. Above everything he has learned through his work, Mr. Domingue considers the most important lesson that has benefitted his career to be community involvement. While surrounding yourself with an excellent team is a good step on the road to success, being able to put a face to a name and servicing your clients as if they were your own family will put you a step above the rest. He has also sought to give back to his community by providing free roofing to veterans and people in need. During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, he has taken this even further and is running a giveaway to provide free roof replacements for medical professionals and others who are on the frontlines of fighting the pandemic.
For his years of achievements, Mr. Domingue has been named one of the Number One Roofing Contractors in Acadiana for six consecutive years. He and his company were also named "Best Of" by the Times of Acadiana from 2014 to 2021. They also hold an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and Mr. Domingue notably serves as an executive board member with the BBB of Acadiana. Additionally, he has partnered with the Ragin' Cajuns' Athletic Foundation and has been deem as the Official Roofing Company of the University of Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns, an organization dedicated to providing financial support to student athletes, and Real Men Wear Pink, a fundraising effort for breast cancer from the American Cancer Society.
Mr. Domingue considers the most gratifying part of his career to be getting to meet all sorts of different individuals, as well as feeling a strong sense of gratitude that they were able to make the homeowners happy. Looking toward the future, he hopes to expand his business and open a physical store in New Orleans.
