She subsequently began working as an intern at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in 2013, followed by a position as a project coordinator for the American Heart Association between 2014 and 2016. She discovered her interest in her current profession during her college career while working at a local clothing store. She grew to appreciate the environment by assisting customers in choosing distinctive outfits.
After receiving her degree, Ms. Bennett later completed physician's assistant coursework at the University of Texas at Arlington between 2016 and 2017 and at Tarrant County College between 2017 and 2018. In addition to her academic credentials, she has also been certified as a health education specialist by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing Inc. and as a health care provider for CPR by the American Heart Association. Known for her contributions as a civic-minded citizen, Ms. Bennett is a member of the Denton Ministry Association, and she participates in various community nonprofits.
Ms. Bennett attributes much of her success to her skills as an organized and detail-oriented individual, as well as her ability to steadily pace herself with her work. In a career filled with highlights, she is particularly proud to have been able to begin her own business and have it nominated for the Best of Denton County in 2022 and mentioned in Denton County Magazine in 2021.
