Mr. Ramos is the executive director of The Orchards at Bartley Assisted Living, a family-owned and operated assisted living community in Jackson, New Jersey. Aligned with the organization since 2016, he served as an intern and was subsequently hired on a full-time basis after graduating from college as an administrative coordinator. In his current role, Mr. Ramos is responsible for overseeing all departments throughout the facility, which encompasses nursing, dietary, maintenance, housekeeping, marketing, reception, transportation and activities. Additionally, he assists with admissions for new residents.
The Orchards, which serves residents throughout Ocean County, New Jersey, has over two decades of expertise. The assisted living facility offers residents an independent lifestyle, as well as quality services and experiences, and a foremost memory care unit designed for those suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's disease. The Orchards maintains a total of 84 beds for residents.
Following in his mother's footsteps, a certified nursing assistant, Mr. Ramos began his career in the industry at the age of 15 employed in the housekeeping department of a local health care facility. Passionate about the industry, Mr. Ramos aims to continue advancing in the health care sector and become more active in advocating for residents' best interests.
Dedicated to serving his community, Mr. Ramos, along with The Orchards assisted living staff, participate in annual walks and fundraising events to support Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimer's disease.
Mr. Ramos pursued a formal education at Rutgers University where he was a collegiate wrestler and achieved a Bachelor of Arts in planning and public policy in 2016. To remain aware of developments affecting his field, Mr. Ramos is a professional member of the Health Care Association of New Jersey, the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living.
Notably, Mr. Ramos has been recognized as a part of the American Health Care Association Future Leaders Class of 2019. Members of the program are taught how to better prepare themselves for careers in the field by focusing on knowledge and leadership skills. Mr. Ramos is planning to become more involved as a member of the organization, which is devoted to representing the long-term care community.
