Mae Gosaynie Recognized by Marquis Who's Who

Ms. Gosaynie serves as an expert in biology, human anatomy, and project based learning

    SOUTHFIELD, MI, June 29, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mae Gosaynie has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Drawing on over two decades of expertise in academia, Ms. Gosaynie specializes in biology, human anatomy, and project based learning. Prior to embarking on her professional journey, she pursued a degree in secondary education at the American University of Beirut in biology and English language & literature which was interrupted due to civil strife. She subsequently followed up on that degree at Saginaw Valley State University between 1983 and 1985 obtaining her associates degree. She continued her academic efforts at Eastern Michigan University, earning a bachelor's degree in secondary education, with a major in biology and a minor in English language, literature, and writing in 2010. Ms. Gosaynie concluded her scholastic endeavors at the American College of Education, attaining a Master of Education in curriculum and instruction, with an emphasis on differentiated instruction, in 2016.

Ms. Gosaynie began her career as a biology coordinator and instructor at Thamer International School in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from 1995 to 2006. Between 2010 and 2012, she garnered expertise as a biology instructor and a lab coordinator at the Early College Alliance of Eastern Michigan University, after which she worked as a biology and forensic instructor for grades nine through 12 at the Academy for Business and Technology from 2013 until 2014. She subsequently contributed to the continuing education department at Schoolcraft College as an English language arts enrichment instructor from 2014 to 2019, while concurrently serving as an Advanced Placement Biology and Project Lead The Way-Human Body Systems instructor for grades nine to 12 at a Southfield charter school that caters to the needs of Ukrainian and Chaldean students between 2014 and 2022. Additionally, she was active as an adult ESL instructor in the Dearborn Public Schools District from 2018 to 2019. Since January 2022, Ms. Gosaynie has found much success as a biology and human anatomy instructor with National Heritage Academies.

In her career related endeavors, Ms. Gosyanie has authored two articles such as "Acknowledging the Creator Within" via Thought Collection Publishing in 2014 and "Resilience: Biology of Stress" via the Michigan Science Teachers Association (MSTA) publication, Links, in their spring 2021 edition. Her most renowned work is her autobiography, The Reincarnation of Radha published in 2021. Well regarded for her contributions to the field, she has received multiple awards including the Rabindranath Tagore Literary Award and the Developing Urban Education Scholarship. Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Ms. Gosaynie has served as a tutor for IGCSE biology students at Thamer International School, a benefactor for the Volunteers of America Michigan's Adopt a Family Program, a presenter at the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) National Conference, and the creator and organizer of a surplus food collection and donation program through Westfield Preparatory High School.

As a commitment to her field, Ms. Gosaynie has been certified as a professional secondary education teacher, and in Project Lead The Way-Human Body Systems. Additionally, she has been active with several industry-related organizations, including the National Science Honor Society, the Michigan Science Teachers Association and the National Science Teachers Association, to name only a few. Among her professional accomplishments, she is most proud of writing and publishing her autobiography. Ms. Gosaynie attributes much of her success to her perseverance, fearlessness, family and personal values.
