Established in 1987, she works alongside her business partner and husband, Tom Gallas. Together, they specialize in providing an array of products for clients, including custom heavy glass shower enclosures, framed shower doors, mirrors and glass products. Additionally, they provide window repair services for thermopane and double paned insulated units, screen repairs, and fabrication of storefront doors and windows.

Over the years, they have expanded the scope of their company from a 700 square foot facility to a 7,000-foot shop. In addition to overseeing operations at Schererville Glass & Mirror, Mrs. Gallas serves as the owner of TomKar LLC, a residential and commercial leasing company that was established in 2008 by her and Tom. Due to the success of her entrepreneurial endeavors, she and her husband are proud to donate much of their time and energy to various charitable causes. Mrs. Gallas has also been active as a Eucharistic Minister at Saint Michael's Catholic Church since 1996 and is the current Treasurer for the Deer Run Condominium Association in Schererville, Indiana.
Mrs. Gallas holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing from Robert Morris University. She attributes much of her success to her continuing commitment to education in her field, as well as the dedication of her family. Grateful to have earned respect in a field traditionally dominated by men, she has received numerous accolades. To wit, Mrs. Gallas was selected as an Up-and-Coming Woman in Construction Award from the Influential Women of Northwest Indiana Association in 2012.
Her advice to young professionals is to stay in school and get educated. As she stated, "No one can take away from you what you have earned yourself. It gives you the ability to believe in yourself to take risks that are calculated decisions for future success."
