As a commitment to her field, Ms. Kimble is a licensed registered nurse and has been certified in basic life support and ACLS.
Ms. Kimble began her career in health care as a medical assistant at a health department in Jacksonville, Florida, working with women and children, where medical professionals recognized her potential for nursing. After attaining her degree, she garnered medical/surgical expertise as a registered nurse at Grady Memorial Hospital and home health and hospice nurse through well-known agencies such as Amedisys and VNHS.
In her career related endeavors, Ms. Kimble has partnered with the Visiting Nurses Health System, a well-known health agency in Atlanta, where she was instrumental in advocating for senior care by creating their new Senior Living branch. Among her professional accomplishments, she is most proud to have been nominated as the Nurse of the Year in her first year of service at Grady Memorial Hospital, in addition to creating a new branch for senior care at Visiting Nurses Health System. Ms. Kimble attributes much of her success to her spirituality, compassion, perseverance, dedication to helping people, and supportive family.
In the future, Ms. Kimble hopes to open her own hospice home to care for those transitioning end of life as well as families.
