Prior to establishing herself in the beauty industry, Ms. Nagy spent many years managing several restaurants, including her own coffee shop. Additionally, she managed a large nightclub in England that could accommodate 1,800 guests. After having her second child, Ms. Nagy sought to find a more suitable career that would allow her to work regular business hours and be more available to her family.
In support of her business and local initiatives, Ms. Nagy is a member of the Manatee County Chamber of Commerce, the Professional Beauty Association and the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance. Her salon has been recognized three times as a Small Business of the Year finalist by the Manatee County Chamber of Commerce. In 1994, Ms. Nagy earned a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, and finance at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, England. She also obtained diplomas in aesthetic treatments, electrical epilation, and body therapy massage at the Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology, a leading nonprofit educational institution headquartered in England.
