Mr. Scarpati then garnered expertise as a financial controller at Medical 360 and Autologic Diagnostics Inc., a division of Opus IVS, from 2018 until 2021. Since 2021, he has found much success as the financial controller at PandoLogic Ltd., which was recently acquired by Veritone Inc. In this capacity, Mr. Scarpati is responsible for supervising finance staff in Israel and the United States, providing monthly financial reports and schedules to chief executive officers, board of directors and investors, maintaining all financial records including books, supporting schedules and subsidiary ledgers and recognizing unrealized gains and losses, among other duties. He also served as PandoLogic's main point of contact in the acquisition of Wade and Wendy as well as Veritone's acquisition of PandoLogic, both acquisitions occurred during 2021.
Well regarded for his contributions to the field, Mr. Scarpati has received the Top 40 Under 40 Award from the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants in 2020. Among his professional accomplishments, he is most proud of achieving this inaugural award, and of serving as a representative and a financial point person in the procurement of a technology company, as well as the $150 million acquisition of PandoLogic by Veritone in 2021.
