Deryl S. McCarty, Colonel USAF (Ret.), Celebrated for Public Service

Mr. McCarty served 30 years in the military before committing himself to public service.

    PUYALLUP, WA, July 08, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Deryl McCarty has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Following his father's legacy, Mr. McCarty was commissioned in the United States Air Force. After 30 years of military service, he turned his attention to the public sphere. As a dedicated public servant, he has served as the chairman of the Transportation Advisory Commission. Supporting that position, he has also distinguished himself as the commissioner and vice chairman of Pierce County Planning Commission, as the state committeeman, Deputy Auditor, and as the commissioner and vice chairman of the Pierce County Planning Commission.

Throughout the course of his career, Mr. McCarty has obtained several degrees and certifications, including a Master of Science in logistics management from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Washington. He also received certification as a professional logistician from the Society of International Logistics. Committed to continuous growth, Mr. McCarty enrolled at the American Military University, where he is completing a doctorate in global security.

As an active voice in American politics, Mr. McCarty has dedicated much of his time to public governance by means of serving as the political director for Congressman Dave Reichert's reelection in 2010 and, for more than six years, as the chairman for the Pierce County Republican Party. He has also served as the president of the Washington State Council of Chapters, a division of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA).

Striving to always excel, Mr. McCarty was awarded the Lew Allen Award as the Best Aircraft Maintenance Officer by the United States Air Force.
